The Kalkan Regency has 41 rooms, some of which were recently refurbished and received great reviews from guests. All rooms have air-conditions, safe boxes, TV’s, with complementary tea and coffee making facilities, mini bars, good hairdryers, laundry and room service; we can provide also CD or DVD players for those who request them.

The Regency provides a gulet for our guest’s enjoyment. A long lazy day can be spent admiring the stunning coastline whilst luxuriating in the space not ordinarily available on more basic day-trip boats. During the course of the day the gulet slowly explores the local bays, stop,ng from time to time for swimming, lunch and afternoon tea. With the emphasis purely on relaxation, this is a splendid way to spend a day.

The Turkish Bath (Hamam) at the Kalkan Regency has recently been voted the ‘cleanest Hamam in Turkey’ by a Turkish national newspaper. Guest may relax in the Hamam without payment, however a charge is applied for the must have experience of the traditional wash and soap massage. The sauna and gym are available on an entirely complimentary basis to residents. In the Wellbeing Centre, the professional team provide a range of treatments from simple manicures and massages to specialty courses aimed at achieving specific results during your stay.

The inexcusably large pool for only 41 rooms, or the 8 private pool suites, enables guests to enjoy a holiday in style tranquillity. The excellent pool snack bar entices many non-residents who now don’t want to miss fish cakes or curry.

As with all things, Nuri’s never-ending quest for better produce led us to believe that despite all the fancy chefs from the big cities, fancy menus were not what we wanted. Ma’s kitchen was born with the philosophy that fresh produce must be served fresh. Menus need to be mainly Turkish, simple, ample, but definitely all dishes must be cooked after you order! We had to serve vegetables the day it was picked, or what would be the use?
